MUSICAL COPYRIGHTS
A DISPUTE SETTLED BROADCASTING ARRANGEMENTS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. An amicable arrangement has been reached between the Australasian Performing Right Association, Ltd., and the Radio Broadcasting Company on the question of broadcasting musical compositions, of which the association possesses the copyright. A percentage of the Broadcasting Company’s gross revenue was demanded by the association in return for permission to broadcast the music affected.
