The manager, Mr. Mair, said the team had trained thoroughly during the voyage. It was absolutely" fit. The players' weights ranged from thirteen to seventeen stone. ■ The fastest man could do 100 yards in 10 3-5. He added that they had .adopted unorthodox tactics which he hopes will bring success.
