HELD UP WITH SPANNER.
BURGLARS IN FACTORY. SYDNEY, May 21
Holding a spanner in his hand and declaring it was a revolver, Billy Pole, the Sydney motor cyclist, field up two burglars for half ail hour early this morning, but they eventually realised the deception and made off a few minutes before the arrival of the night watchman. Polo had been, working late in the factory of P. R. Williams, of Wentworth, turning-up machines for the races at Maroubrn to-morrow, and decided to sleep on the premises. Two men entered the building, and Polo, grabbing a spanner from a bench, held it like a revolver and kept the men at bay for nearly half an hour until they became aware of the bluff and ran awav.
