HOTEL-KEEPER’S TROUBLES WITH WIFE. ASKS COURT FOR PROTECTION. {Per Press Association ' . WELLINGTON, this clayy. A remarkable ease vras dealt with in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, when Florence Irene Frobisher, wife of JamCs Godfrey Frobisher, licensee of the Albion Hotel, wis charged on three counts with assaulting her husband and of refusing to leave the premises when requested. Another in formal ion stated' that Frobisher had cause to fear, and did fear, that his wife would do him bodily harm, wherefore he prayed she be ordered to find sureties of peace. Frobisher gave evidence that,- there was a deed 1 , of separation, -which gave him the custody of the child, and her an allowance, and forbade her to visit the hotel, dated May 27. She hart several times since been in tho hotel and used abusive language to him. She struck him with her list and threw a telephone at him, injuring his eye. The police wove called in and on a threat to remove her slm left. The wife's counsel said she was only 24 years old. Klin hud only gone to the hotel to see the child. Defendant denied the allegations of assault.

Mr. Page, SAL. said it was clear she had ecmmiUod. a serious assault and had Honied the separation order and licit,ted 1 the Supreme Court. lb ordered her to come up for sentence when called on within two years and |o he brought up for sentence if the police found her in the hotel.
