INDIAN SAGE WINS SILVERSTREAM HANDICAP. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. At. the Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting to-day the totalisator put, through £41,4(51 10s, as against £42,991 for the corresponding day last year. The concluding results were:— Silverstream Handicap: 4 Indian Sage (K. Reed) 1, 8 Pantagrucl 2, 11 Phantasy il. Also started: GDe Luxe, 5 Killoeh, 11 Sarty, 2 Athon, 8 Anklet, 1G Dubious, 9 Salamis, 7 Kilmiss, 13 Outfit. Won by a neck, with a length between second and third. Time, 1.41. Railway Handicap: 11 Tommy Dodd (L. J. Ellis) 1, 1 Civility 2, 8 Orchid 8. Also started: 9 Inferno, 2 Shirley, 4 Merry Jest, .10 Archeen, G Lie-in ins, a Killocra, 12 Santonio, 8 Centrepiece, 7 First Acre. Won by half a length, with six lengths between second and 1 third. Time, 1.13. Tinakori Handicap: 1 Ballymoy 11. (W. Ryan) 1,2 Beuzora 2, 7 Great Day 8. Also started: 3 Receipt, 4 Newbury King, 8 Star Shell, G Serotina, 17 Bonidecr, 5 Dobbin, 12 Tcmpeau, 10 Bon Marche, 15 The Bolter, 15 Tannadice, 11 Berinthia, 18 Gardenia, 14 Thomond, 18 Black Mint, 19 Motion, 9 Mountain Jean. Won by a nose, with two and a-half lengths between second and third. Time, 1.121.
