EMPIRE’S ULTIMATE COURT. LEND THY LIST FROM NEW ZEALAND. i At present there arc pending an unusual number of appeals to the Privy Council from Now Zealand Court decisions. On tlic average not more than two or three cases go forward from New Zealand each year to the ultimate tribunal in England. At the present time, however, there are no fewer than eight eases going forward, amongst which arc the following: Lysnar v. Gisborne Harbor Board; Long v. Barker, an Auckland will case; The King i’. The Crown Milling Company and Distributors, Ltd., and others, in connection with the alleged llourmilling trust; Wright v. Morgan; Bossett v. AVilkinsQn, a case of rescission of contract; Gardiner v. To Peru and others, arising out of a native lease case; Cleave v. McDonald; and Manawatu Drainage Board v. Tremaine. In a number of these eases, Mr. M. Myers, K.C., will appear for one, or other of ,the parties, and leaves for England in March. Mr. Gresson, K.C., of Christchurch, will also appear.
