Forest, at the eoneliusioii of the uremony. congratulated the M’s. U.. Bios. G. Downey tmd B. L. Power, and the officers, remarking that it was the best he had seen performed in the lodge. Four clearances were granted, one to the new lodge at Pukekoh-e, one to Ex elsior Lodge (Wellington), and two to Albion Lodge (Napier). The treasurer it ported that lie had engaged the Assembly Hall for the annual New Year’s Eve dunce.
