BLEACHED FLOUR.
IMPORTERS WARNED
Tho Health Department made the following statement to the Christchurch Press regarding bleached Hour: “Certain samples of flour taken recently show evidences bleaching. , Importers are warned' that bleached flour, or flour containing improvers, does not comply with the regulations under the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, and will he held up as prohibited imports under the Customs Act.”
What is termed “bleached” flour is not made in New Zealand.
