This amount would 1)0 materially increased if the arrangement with the Public Health Department for the training of technicians were to be terminated. The department of medicine would require another £SOO, and surgery £550 more. Midwifery and gynecology should have an additional £SOO, special departments £I.OO, flu? library £IOOO, the maintenance of buildings £IOOO, and I lie. direction of the school £I2OO more. He further stated that the school had now attained such a size that the .Dean should occupy the position of director, receiving sufficient remuneration to recompense him for his onerous duties.
