1 RELATION TO INDUSTRY. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. . The Government has referred to Sir Finest Rutherford for liis advice on the question of the relation of science to industry in New Zealand, with special reference to the report of the special committee! set up to consider tho needs and necessities of manufacturers in this country with regard to scientific industrial research, it being recognised that industrialists in New Zealand should have an opportunity of carrying on their work with any assistance which modern science can give.
