HITS SUGAR INDUSTRY. (Received October 27, 2 p.m.) BRISBANE, Oct, 27. Owing to the. waterside rotary dispute at Bowen tha Inkerman sugar mill is closing. The Farmers’ Association is petitioning the Government for.relief. Tho attitude of the Government is considered inexplicable, ns half a million sterling is sunk in the Inkerrhrm irrigation scheme, for which a. majority "of the farmers in the district arc heavily indebted.
