In Iris charge to the Grand Jury at the criminal sessions of the (Supreme Uourt, Mr. Justice, Reed said that the average of recent sessions throughout New Zealand showed a distinct improvement and .was a matter for congratulation. Not ;t singlo, case was due directly or indirectly' to inability to obtain employment. He referred to motor speeding, which was largely due to the concrete roads, and said that something would have to bo done in \thc matter.
