DAIRY CONTROL.
(Special lo the Herald.) WELLINGTON, this day. The National Dairy Council, representing dairy factories throughout New Zealand, lias under discussion here today the question as to whether it need continue to function when the Dairy Export Hoard operates the absolute control of dairy export. A decision was not reached. T!«e„council has favorably viewed the Dairy Control Hoard’s policy, but it is reported Unit there is sullicienlly strong opposition among cooperative factories as well as private concerns to cause interesting developments before an Order-in-CounCil authorising absolute control is issued. This section contend that the Board s policy will result in statutory prohibition of buying in New Zealand for export, and that though the Dairy Control Board does not intend to apply such vigorous conditions, it will bo forced to do so under the terms of the statute.
