(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. At thy University Semite meeting Sir Robert, Stout moved—(l) That the registrar prepare a statement lor the Senate showing the list of universities in Great Britain in which there is provision in their charter that there must be a report from an external examiner before any degree can be granted. (2) The number of external examiners in the, universities ot Britain and Australia.. (o). The fees (if any) paid to professors "'ho act as examiners of their own students. The Hon. J. A. Hanan seconded. Professor Segar moved that the word “federal” be inserted before (universities.
