The Wellington Bowling Centre last night, carried a motion that a remit he sent to the Dominion Council, .suggesting that learns he invited from Canada, Australia; and South Africa, to visit, New Zealand in 1925, with the object of commencing annual inter-Empire howling tournaments. Tlie mover staled he had interviewed Sir Robt. Stout and Lord Jellicoe on the matter, and they cordially approved of the suggestion. A gentleman in had offered to give a. cup valued 'at £SOO for competition, somewhat similar to the Davis cup. The seconder of the motion, while not so optimistic as tho mover os lo tli-o success of the scheme, said he believed it would he endorsed by tho Dominion Council, and even if it could not he realised this year much good Might come out of it.
