' In the Legislative Assembly, Mr. McToenan moved “that his motion, that the action of the Government in prosecuting union officials in connection with t-he Port Lyttelton hold-up is deserving of censure,” be dealt with as a matter of urgency. The motion was defeated by 39 votes to 29. Tha motion will now bo, j, placed on the Order Paper and be dealt with in the ordinary way. BRISBANE, July 31: In the Assembly, the Leader of the Opposition moved a motion of no-epnfi-dence in the Government on account of, its financial policy. The motion is expected to be easily defeated.
