The- weather for the South African match against Sussex was fine. The wicket was easy. Following are the scores : Nourse 73, Hands (not out) 58. LONDON, July 3i:
Sporting Life is disappointed that McBryan and Howell ’were not,.selected for the Australian tour. It expresses the opinion that the team should score heavily, but the bowling it weak and there are too many slow bowlers. Another fast bowler should be taken. Gilligati is sure "to feel the strain of much bowling on the Australian wickets.
