INJURED BY MOTOR-CAR.
THE LAD COMERFORD. COLLISION IN DARKNESS. HAMILTON, Wednesday.—A further medical examination of the schoolboy, Edward Comerford, who was knocked down by a motor car in Hamilton East on the previous evening, showed that he had suffered internal injuries. He was admitted to the Waikato hospital and was operated upon. His condition is serious. The car was being driven by Mr. -Malcolm Hoggson, farmer, of Tamahere. (t appears that Mr. Hoggson dimmed his lights owing to the action of a fractious' horse being driven in the opposite direction. When he turned the lights on again he found the boy on the front mudguard of his car. Interviewed by the polite, the boy described the collision as a pure accident.
