VICTIM’S CONDITION SERIOUS,
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day
. Robert Wera, aged 22 years, wa-s admitted to the Auckland hospital for a wound in the back. It is stated that, other youths walking behind Wera were toying with a rifle, when the weapon unexpectedly exploded. An operation was performed last night. The patient’s condition is serious.
