The 16-year-old youth , James Charles White, who pleaded guilty to obtaining go-ods and money by means of a valueless cheque for £9, appeared for sentence before Mr, E. E. Levvey, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court this morning. ‘Senior-Sergeant, Fitzpatrick stated that lie had communicated with the Salvation Army authorities, who, however, considered the accused too old to be taken charge of by them.
