SHOPLIFTING.
. SEVEN' DAYS’ IMPRISONMENT. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Margaret Thomson, aged .42 years, and Lilian Ester Hey wood, aged 62 years, both married, were charged this movie ing with shoplifting and sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment. Counsel said the women had been taking a fair amount of mild drugs. The husbands were in good financial positions.
