PROBLEM OF MESOPOTAMIA

In the House of Commons’ debate on Mesopotamia, Mr. Thomas said that Britain was committed by the late Government to quit in four years. But no one, speaking for the present Government, could give a. guarantee, as something might happen to alter the situation before the end of that period. It was the Government’s intention to get, out. But it wanted to do so with honor.
