CRICKET ROMANCE.
A. P. F. CHAPMAN TO AYED. LONDON, June 6.-A. P. F. Chapman, the brilliant left-handed batsman, who toured Australia and New Zealand with the AI.C.C. team last year, is engaged to be married to a sister of T. 11. Lowry, of New Zealand, who was a, member of the same side. Chapman is the young Cambridge University man whose dashing batting and brilliant fielding so delighted Sydney cricket-lovers. He is regarded as one of the most promising batsmen in England. Lowrv is a son of a well-known New Zealand sportsman, and this year is paptain of the Cambridge cricket team.
