INDOOR SPORTS CARNIVAL.
The weekly meeting of the committee which has in hand the holding of indoor sports in aid of the public bath, was held last eVening, Mr. A. Henderson presiding over a good attendance. Mr. A. G. Seddon, the organiser, reported that the men at Motuhora'were keen to enter for all events for which they were eligible. It was decided that the sports be held on July 17. provided the Garrison Hall could be obtained for that night. It was decided to let Mr. Ogier go into the question of obtaining the services of an orchestra.
The question of boxing bouts was discussed, and it was left to the boxing sub committed to report on the matter. It was decided to recommend the skating committee to. include at least erne ladies’ event in the skating programme.
