MURDER OF MATTEOTTI.
FASCISTS ACCUSED. THREATENED REVELATIONS. (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Tlie Times.) LONDON, June 16. Tlie Times’ Rome correspondent states that the Fascists are now definitely accused of kidnapping Matteotti. The newspapers are pointing out that Matteotti was known to be in possession of certain information relating to State contracts, which lie intended to disclose in Parliament. Had he done- so, it is stated that the cause of Fascism would have been seriously compromised.
“No crime in recent years has so shocked the public,” says the correspondent, who declares that according to private information given to certain deputies, Matteotti was first stabbed and then buried in the wood, which the police are now guarding.
