DAUGHERTY REFUSES TO GIVE
EVIDENCE
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, June 4,
Former Attorney-General Daugherty has notified the Senate Committee, which, had his personal conduct -under investigation, that he would neither testify as a witness nor he represented further by counsel. Tine Committee had asked Daugherty to take the witness stand on Friday-as the last witness before its preliminary report is submitted to the Senate.
