EAST COAST RAILWAY.
TANEATUA-OPOTIKI SECTION
(Per Press Association.) OPOTIKI, this day. The Chamber of Commerce last night unanimously adopted a resolution urging the Government to make provision in tho estimates during the ensuing session for the immediate construction of the Taneatua-Opotiki section of the East Coast railway, which was authorised by Parliament nine years ago. The Chamber also resolved to suggest that this section be constructed by contract.
