ASSAULT WITH TOMAHAWK.
A FARMER'S CRITICAL INJURIES'.
(Received May 8, 2.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 8.
Frederick Stephen Wells, a farmer, was admitted to Goulburn hospital in a critical condition, suffering from injuries to his head, alleged to have been inflicted by a. tomahawk and iron bar. Details are meagre. A man named Clement' Robert Larkbam, aged 26, and a girl, Mercy Hockey, aged 16, have been arrested in, connection with the affair and charged with assaulting Wells. They were remanded.
