CHAMPIONSIIIP FINALS. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The iinal matches in the New Zealand championship tennis tournament were played this afternoon in fine weather. Results: —- Combined doubles. —Semi-final: Mrs. Scott Watson and E. L. Bartlett (Auckland) beat Miss Z. Well wood (Hawke’s Bav) and F. Peach (N.S.W.), 6—4, 2—6, B—6. Final : Miss Marjorie MacEarlane and H. L. Robson (Auckland) bent Mrs. Scott. Watson and Bartlett (Auckland), 2—6, g ,7 8 ; . WANGANUI, last night. The Wanganui tennis tournament, in which players from various parts of New Zealand are participating, was continued to-day, when tho second round was played.
