fPlay during the first half was very even, and although Tokomaru forwards endeavored to'force the pace, the nature of tho ground did not allow of any spectacular play. Tokomaru were obviously feeluig the eifects of tho game played in the rain in the morning, but despite this fad they showed up well, and, if anything, had the advantage in the first half. hi the second, half Rovers attacked and tarried tho ball well down field to the.blue 25, around which play centred for a, time. Miss F. Benson was finally successful in shooting a. goal. Rovers 1, Tokomaru nil. Play continued somewhat steadily, and Tokomaru mado several good attempts to scoro, but were unable to do so, the game thus being won by Rovers.
