Stiff sentences weii© imposed in Dublin on four men and two women eon-; victed of stealing, while armed, £I3OO from a mill. Hudson, the leader of the gang, was sentenced, to ten years’ penal servitude, plus fifteen strokes from the cat;*John -Meade to ten years; John Tigue to seven years; James Meade, three years; and the women to eighteen and nine months’ respectively.
