"T GISBORNE CLUB. A .large number of bowlers were present on the above,club’s green yesterday afternoon, the weather being warm and t.he green running fairly keenly. The inter-district match was advanced another stage, when City met Kaiti in the second round, Whutaupoko having beaten City in the first round. City defeated Kaiti by a handsome margin, tho following being tlife results, of the individual games, City teajns being mentioned first in each instance Gibbs. Wilkinson, Staff, Hueston (sk.) 57 v. The third round will ' be played next Thursday between ,Kaiti and Wliataupoko. Ordinary ganies played were: Andrew and Contis. 21 v. Sheltqn and Mahoney 18: McKeague and Seymour 20 v.
