The weather looks more settled foi to-morrow’s Rugby test. The ground will he a trifle heavy. All the seating accommodation has been booked. An attendance of twenty thousand is assured if the weather is fine. The teams are:
New Zealand: Full hack, Sinclair (Otago); three-quarters, Steele (West Coast), Pot-aka (Wanganui), and Snodgrass (Nelson); five-eighths, Tilyard (Wellington), and Poina (Wanganui); half hack, Mill (Hawke’s Bay); forwards (hookers), Gemmell (Hawke’s Bay), and MeMeeking (Otago); lock, Williams (Otago); side supports, Richardson (Southland), and Peterson (Canterbury); hack rcpv, Pringle (Wellington), and Rigliton (Auckland); wing forward, Beilis (Wanganui). Bell who has an ulcer on his leg, i/> not available. -Pringle, who was troubled with footballers’ ear, was attended yesterday by a. doctor. New South Wales Full-back, Notliling; three-quarters, Erasmus, Stanzey, Sheehan, Smith (emergency, Loudon) ; five-eighths, George; half-back, Mingav; forwards, front row, Thompson, Balkwood and Davis (or Erby); second row, Marrott and Taylor; hack row, Elliot, Thorn© and Armstrong.
Litter.—-Brownlie. (Hawke's Bay) replaces, Pringle in the test match'. The Now Zealand team comes to town tomorrow morning, .and, will proceed oil Monday to Timaru, where it will camp to prepare for the second test at Christchurch. The New South lVales team indulged in light practice this morning.
