Tho Lord Mayor gave a luncheon at Mansion House to the High Commissioners and Imperial Education Conference delegates. The Lord Mayor proposed tho toast of the delegates. Mr. Viljoen, director of education in South Africa, replied. He paid a tribute to tho English educational system. The principal achievements of flic conference were: First, the establishment of an Imperial bureau; secondly, tho organisation of free unlettered cedueatiional interchange throughout the Empire; thirdly, laid the foundations of the international commonwealth of education.
