FOOTBALL.
REFEREES' ASSOCIATION
The' weekly meeting of the Poverty Bay Rugby Referees' Association was held last night, and presided over by Mr. A. Wallace, chairman. Owing to the shortage of senior referees it was decided that the committee grade, junior referees according to- their capabilities during the present season. The appointments for Saturday ars as follows :
Seniors: Old Boys v. Manutuke, 2.45 p.m., Mr. 01 sen; Kaiti City v. Civil Service, 2.45 p.m., Mr. Pudney. Juniors: Rovers v. Kaiti City, 1.30 p.m., Mv. A. Wallace; High School v, Manutuke, 1.30 p.m., Mr. Burge. Third Grade: High School v. Kaiti City, 3 p.m., Mr. Slichbury; Old Boys v. Rovers, 1.30 p.m.,. Mr.. Sheen. Fourth Grade: High School V. Kaiti Citv, 3 p.m., Mr. Mahone. SOCCER.
A meeting of the Red'Rovers was held in their club rooms last inght for general discussion. Mr. T. Hill presided over a fair attendance. All intending members were issued registration forms, which were duly filled in. Saturday's tieam will be the same as last week's.
Mr. H. Hill was selected' to replace Mr. T. Hill as delegate to the management committee.
