ODDFELLOWS' LODGE.

Loyal Gisborne Lodge,'loß7, Manchester Unity, met last night, the attendance being good. A lot of business was considered. A special report "was given from the conference of Friendly Societies, and n resolution of thanks tendered, also satisfaction at the result of the election. It was rosolved that country members be specially asked to support those members elected by the conference, which will appear through the press. It was resolved that the Loyal Gisborne Lodge present to the memorial committee a seat in aid of their appeal. After the usual report on behalf of the sick members the Lodge proceeded to' a game of euchre, to which visitors were admitted. The members having brought refreshments, the Lodge provided coffee, which was much appreciated during the evening. Brother A. Kirk, P. 0., proved the winner. Bro. P. C. Niven, Noble Grand, presented an E.P. photo frame, which ho handed to Sister L. Kirk as a memento .of the evening. Fivevnominations were received for membership. Special effort will be made to have them all forward on Monday, May 14. when a good evening may be expected.
