Sir, — f would like to impose upom a little of your space, to reply to the letter in your last night's edition under this heading. Player seems to have no knowledge of the correct position o>£ things, as the annual meeting of the P.B.TiAT. wan held! on the 21th inst. and not the 19th, audi the following motion was carried, "In the event of four senior teams not being nominated, thai, it he an instruction) to the new Union to introduce the district scheme." At the adjourned annual meeting held on the 19th a motion favoring the district scheme was put to the? meeting hut was not defeated as claimed' by Player. The votes were read as 5 for and 6 against, but as one of the six was not entitled to vote it resulted) evenly, the chairman did not exercise his casting vote. Another matter which Player has gone astray on is regarding 'High School High School have not nominated a senior .learn. The High School delegate suggested that his team might possibly play senior to make a competition but. -until the Rugby TJiiiom actually receive their nomination they are not in a. position to consider same,either favorably or otherwise.

There is plenty of > gratuitous hard work and worry in connection with the Rugby Union without being criticised by an individual who does not know the facts of his grievance.

Perhaps if he. were to devote his literary /abilities to the boosting of the game instead'' of trying to hamper those who give their time and energy to it, lie would probably find himself more appreciated.— 1 am, etc.. EX-PLAYEII.
