(Received January 4, 11 a.m.) S¥DNEY, January 4. The shareholders of the Finance Association refused to ratify the amalgamation scheme cabled on December 23, and instead decided to invite tenders for the purchase of the business, whereupon the Co-operative Wool Company withdrew from all negotiations. It is understood tho business has been secured by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd.
