Telegrams and letters for Palmerston North continue to be delayed in transmission owing to the senders, especially in and around the Wellington district, addressing them to Palmerston. The postal authorities forward all correspondence addressed “Palmerston” to the post office of that name in Otago. Country residents should utilise the splendid facilities of our Postal Department. A few lines will immediately despatch selection on approval plate, watches, or jewellery. Old jewellery remodelled tastefully. A. Stoneham aad Co., Diamond House, Gisborne.*
