HOCKEY.
WELLINGTON, last night. The hockey match between teams representing North and South Islands was played yesterday. North won by 3 goals to 1. The game was interesting, but North Island were superior. Goals for the winners were scored by Blundell and Tucker (2). Amos 6cored for the South. McGregor, of the Northern, team, had his nose broken, and Amos (South) sustained a broken finger on his left hand.—-Press Assn. ' .
