HAWKE'S BAY SCHOOL TEACHERS. : The Hawke's Bay Education Boai'd has received advice that the cost of liv- : ing bonus will be granted to school i teachers, as m the case of other public ; i servants. . i The bonus, £15 for married teachers, < and 437 103 for sing!© teachers, will be ' paid l to all primary school' teachers, t ] manual and technical instructors, and ' , fiecondary school teachers whose annual j emolument does not exce-ed £500. , The bonus datgs from January 1, 1920, ,| to March 51, 192J, unless the regula- 1 tions governing sajapieg are amended ; meanwhile> Jn which case thg question of bonuses w|U be taken into considers- ! tion. The first payment of the bonus will ' be made m June, for the first six months j of 1020. Thereafter the bonus will be paid quarterly, m September, December and March. ,
