RELIEF TO STARVING EUROPE.

It is officially announced that the Treasury spent £452,329 since Juone last on grants to voluntary societies' for the relief of the famine-stricken areas of Europe, in connection with a scheme by which ithe Treasury pays pound for pound voluntarily raised.
