MR K. S. WILLIAMS AT OPOTIKI.
(Special to Herald.) OPOTIKI, this day. M. K. S. Williams had a good meeting at Opotiki last evening, the hall being packed. The Mayor, Mr T. G. Johnson, presided. The candidate spoke on the lines. of his Te Kar^ka' address, and on the motion of Mr J. B. Gow, seconded by Mr .Gorton, he was accorded a vote of thanks and : confidence, with hearty cheers. Mr Williams answered a number of questions with apparent satisfaction, and the meeting was regarded as a very successful one. The candidate left this afternoon for Motu, where he speaks this evening.
