DIVORCE MEANS OF SELF DEFENCE TN RUSSIA
PETROGRAD, June 28.— The horrors experienced m Petrbgrad during the last fortnight- surpass the Worst previously imagined. Ah immense drive has beeh made against officers. Eight hundred were massacred m one day and three thousand hostages deported to Moscow. Wherever the slightest evidence of arms is discovered m a flat the whole family is put to death. The result of the Bolshevist system of shooting officers' wives is that divorce has become -a common means of self-defence.
