A £250,000 COMPANY FORMED. . LONDON July 29.— The English company which was formed to utilise the present, .opportunity to introduce Australian vines into Northern Europe and secure a hold on the markets which were largely supplied from Germany before th e war, has been, registered as the Commonwealth Wine Company. It has a capital of £250.000, Major-Genera) Sir Newton Moore, formerly Agent-General for West Australia :s -a director. The controlling interest m this new company is held by groups of leading mporters of Australian wines m various "arts of the Kingdom, who believe that Mie nationality and stability of the new organisation will be thus assured. The first shipment from Sydney to Chris'ian.ia. has already been sold at an excellent price.
