The Hospital Board's selection' of Webster's Hill site, near Taneatua, for a new hospital was yesterday opposed by the County Council, which, by six o four, resolved m favor of Kirk's site, m Whakatane Borough. This is the site that has already been approved by the Health Department. The Bay of Plenty Hospital Board'F choice of Webster's Hill site, near raneatua, m preference to Kirk's site. "Whakatane Borough, for the projected Whakatane district hospital, is beinp protested against m Whakatane andelsewhere. The Whakatane Chamber o' Commerce resolved to make further representations to the Minister of Puulii Health, asking him to ensure that Kirk': chosen by the Health Department ho the one on which the hospital wa?
