THE WHANGAREI CASE.
NO BILL ON CHARGE OF AIDING AND ABETTING. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. At the Supreme Court Pearl Burke was charged that she had aided and abetted Jessie West to commit suicide at Whangarei, The Grand Jury returned no bill. His Honor agreed with the finding. It seemed to him that the woman who committed suicide • was the leading mind, and the accused's was entirely a passive one. The accused was discharged.
