NO-LICENSE QUESTION.
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The No-License question was brought under the notice of the Presbyterian Assembly by the Revs. J. J. North and S. Lawry, of the New Zealand Alliance, who attended as ya. deputation to ask the Assembly to put its full strength into th© campaign. Mr. Noi-th said it was recognised that the Presbyterian Church -had done tremendous work for the cause. Mr. Lawry said' the cause on April 10th might hang on a single vote, and every Christian man or woman should be sure that his or her vote counted. The Assembly thanked the deputation and expressed its strong appreciation of the objects of the Alliance.
