MATAWHERO STOCK SALE
The weekly live stock sale was held at Matawhero yards to-day, when there was a good attendancse. Prices were easily on a par with last I week's sale, and up to the lunch hour 'were as follows : —
Fat sheep : 13 mixed 31s, 3 ewes 33s 6d, 9 ewes 1 vrether 28s, 32 wethers 375, 28 ewes 32s 6d, 23 ewes 303, 25 do. 335, 1 do. 29s 3d, 1 do. 335, 2 wethers 37s 9d, 2 rams 3|gns, 1 ewe and lamb 27s "6d.
Pigs : 29 yarded, all sold under hammer at exceptionally good prices : 2 weaners 18s 3d, 2 porkers 255, 2 weaners 16s 6d, 4 do. 255, 4 porkers (small) 275, -4 waaners 22s 6d, 3 weaners 22s 6d, 4 weaners 27s 6d, 3 porkers (smalt) 325, 1 porker 265.

Those s old were 3 weaners (dairy sorts), £2 10s; 2-year-old steer (dairy sort), 7 steers and 3 heifers (weaners), dairy sorts, £2 17s. Dairy cattle- r 1 cow (due at any time). £13; 1 cow (due m six weeks^ £10 2s 6d; 1 heifer (swingine), £9 10s: 1 cow, just calved, £7 17s 6d.
