Pichon writes to the secretary of jthe National Czechs' Council: Faithful to our principles of respect for nationalities and the liberation of oppressed peoples, the French 1 Government considers the claims of the Czecho-Slav nations +o be well founded, and will apply itself /when the time comes to uphold the aspirations and independence, m historic limits, of their provinces liberated at length from the yoke of the AusfcroHungarian oppressor. .
